The Verbalist: Time

Not enough time on my hands
But the time on my wrist
It tocks and it ticks
To tell Me it's time to go in
If time is money
Then the time that i spent
Has got to be spent
On getting more ends
While remembering money's
Just a means to and end
Just a matter of time
'fore i meet with my end
So I cherish every time
That I meet with my friends
And my family again
And i can't be a slave
To the sands as they slip
Through the hour glass narrow
He must watch me
If his eyes are on sparrows
That must mean
That the glass is still half full
I have to believe it
The reason being
That I'm still breathing
*inhale* Breathing
*exhale* Breathing
Every breath is blessing and
Every single second is precious
I'm just tryna make sure that
I'm not
A slave to the tick of the
Time clock
I know it ain't long 'til my
Time stops
So i cherish every second that
I've got
